Đặc điểm hình thái: Thân, Tán, Lá: Cây mọc bụi thưa, gốc có thân rễ bò dài, măng nhỏ, màu vàng, cành nhánh mềm, cong. Lá dạng dải, gần như không cuống, nhọn đầu, có bẹ ôm thân, màu xanh bóng, gân vòng cung. Hoa, Qủa, Hạt: Cụm hoa có nhiều bông làm thành chùy.

Đặc điểm sinh lý, sinh thái: Tốc độ sinh trưởng: Nhanh.

Phù hợp với cây ngoại thất, cây phong thủy: Cây ưa sáng, nhu cầu nước trung bình, nhân giống từ tách bụi.
